We became members of the Business Environment Association (BEA) we like to keep a look out for interesting information regarding the environment.
We find the BEA a very useful resource for such information.
BEA was also able to advise and help us, in converting a petrol driven car to run on LPG Liquid petroleum gas,
which not only saved on fuel costs but also reduced our emissions for almost four years now.
Our studio is heated via heat pump which saves about a third energy and cost, and is fitted with low energy lights.
Future
we are now investigating / planning to introduce solar power to supplement power requirement to our laptop computers and lighting.
Carbon Neutral may not be possible (just now) without carbon offset, yet we intend to keep reducing energy use and recycle whenever possible which makes not only environmental sense but saves money and that can’t be a bad thing either.

Having just tested an electric motor scooter (zero carbon emissions) . It is under consideration that when it is time to renew the company car, next year one of these will be brought into the company to use on/for occasional, short local journeys. I will keep you posted.
